Eating

We offer both traditional and modern cuisine, all cooked where possible using local and free range produce. We offer snacks and Ploughman’s, Sunday roasts, fresh fish, homemade pies, suet puddings, local game, summer salads and shellfish (crab/lobster – available during July/August).

To allow us the maximum flexibility to offer you the freshest seasonal dishes our menus are displayed on chalkboards in the pub and these change frequently. We also have our ‘Daily Specials’ for you to choose from.

Every Sunday we offer a selection of freshly prepared local roast meats served with all the trimmings. Our full menu is also available through to 7pm

We have an excellent selection of wines available by the glass and bottle together with quality cask ales, premium beers and ciders for you to savour. We take great pride in the quality of our draught beers and cask ales and we endeavour to serve you with a perfect pint every time.

We also have a range of quality teas and fresh coffees for you to enjoy. For the discerning diners and drivers we also offer a wide range of quality soft drinks.
